Rachel regularly represents the musicFIRST Coalition and Future of Music Coalition before the Federal Communications Commission in matters related to media ownership regulations and competition between audio platforms. Her client musicFIRST is a coalition comprised of the Recording Academy, Latin Recording Academy, SoundExchange, R.I.A.A., A2IM (American Association of Independent Music), American Federation of Musicians, SAG-AFTRA, Society of Singers, Christian Music Trade Association, Music Managers Forum, the Vocal Group and the Rhythm & Blues Foundation. Future of Music Coalition is a nonprofit music advocacy think tank.

Rachel serves, on a volunteer basis, as Co-Chair of the Recording Academy’s Los Angeles Chapter Advocacy Committee, where she advocates for legislative and regulatory change that will benefit music creators and their fans. Recent topics includes taking steps to prevent music creators from misuse of Artificial Intelligence, live event ticketing reform, and ensuring that music creators get paid fairly for the use of their work. Rachel also serves on the national Advocacy Committee of Songwriters of North America.
